Here are couple of photos of St. Martin's Heritage Trust retiring chair Rev. Ann Hyde and incoming chairman David Bush. They were celebrating her long contribution to the Trust since its inception 10 years ago. Everyone at the Trust wishes her well as she relocates and enjoys a happy retirement.

In November 2019 three scholars, Richard Fletcher, Barry Clark and Stephanie Boydell, told us how they had started research into the Northern Art Workers’ Guild, which flourished in Manchester in the years when St Martin’s was created. Five years later, they have published a book, and return to tell us about their quest to rediscover the almost forgotten NAWG.

Joint meeting with the Marple Local History Society. Several speakers explore how, as Marple grew, a number of churches were established (including St Martin’s) to serve the varied needs of Marple folk. In the Church Hall with tea, 2.30pm - 4pm.
